НАЗАРБАЕВЫН ИХ СУРГУУЛЬД БҮТЭН ТЭТГЭЛГЭЭР СУРАЛЦАХ БОЛОМЖ

Та бүхэндээ нэгэн сайхан мэдээ дуулгахдаа таатай байна. Назарбаевын их сургуулийн Төрийн бодлогын дээд сургууль нь Сингапурын үндэсний их сургуулийн Ли Куан Югийн нэрэмжит Төрийн бодлогын сургуультай стратегийн түншлэлтэй ажилладаг юм. Энэ ч утгаараа хэд хоногийн өмнө Назарбаевын их сургуулийн удирдлагаас бидэнтэй холбогдож Монголоос чадварлаг залуусыг тус сургуульд элсүүлэхэд туслах, Назарбаевын их сургуулийн хөтөлбөрийг Монголд сурталчилж өгөхийг хүссэн юм. Хариуд нь Монголоос очих залууст тэтгэлэг өгөх боломж бий эсэхийг судалж хариу өгөхийг хүслээ.

Хэд хоногийн дараа баяртай мэдээ ирлээ: Астана дахь Казахстаны Боловсрол, Шинжлэх Ухааны Яамнаас Назарбаевын их сургуулийн 3 төрлийн хөтөлбөрт (Төрийн бодлогын магистр – 2 жил, Төрийн удирдлагын магистр – 1.5 жил, Төрийн бодлогын докторантур – 4 жил) 3 төрлийн хөтөлбөрт суралцах Монгол оюутнуудад төрийн сангаас бүтэн тэтгэлэг (сургалтын төлбөр, байр, стипенд) олгох зөвшөөрлийг олгосоныг тус сургуулийн удирдлага бидэнд уламжлав.

Хэдэн жилийн өмнөөс дэлхийн томоохон их дээд сургуулийн профессоруудыг өндөр цалин урамшуулал, хангамжаар дуудаж Назарбаевын их сургуулийн шавыг тавьж эхэлснийг та бүхэн сайн мэднэ. Назарбаевын их сургуулийн Төрийн бодлогын дээд сургуулийн оюутнууд нь Сингапурт хэдэн долоо хоног суралцах боломжоор хангагдсан, Ли Куан Югийн нэрэмжит Төрийн бодлогын сургуулийн профессоруудаар хичээл заалгадаг болно.

Хөтөлбөр англи хэлээр явагддаг тул орос, казах хэлний мэдлэгээс илүүтэй ТОEFL-ийн оноог чухалчилж байгаа юм байна.

Нэмэлт мэдээлэл:

Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Public Policy currently offers 2 master programs and 1 PhD program:
1) Master in Public Policy – 2-year full time program;
2) Master in Public Administration – 18-month program (weekend format);
3) PhD in Public Policy – 4 years full time.

Eligibility:

1) Master in Public Policy
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
Minimum 2 years of working experience. Fresh graduates and early career professionals are welcome to apply. Based on the Admissions Committee’s discretion applicants with work experience less than 2 years may also be considered if the applicant can demonstrate high academic performance of CGPA 4 out of 5, or 2.67 out of 4, or its equivalent.
English proficiency: IELTS – minimum overall score 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in sub categories, or its TOEFL equivalent (compare your TOEFL score here).
English language certifications are valid for 2 years prior to application deadline. At the discretion of the Admissions Committee applicants can be exempted from submitting the language proficiency test report if:
– one of their earlier academic degrees was earned in a country with English as the language of official communication, academic instruction and daily life;
– an undergraduate degree was earned in a program which was officially taught in English;
– the applicant is a graduate of Nazarbayev University.

Criteria for Selection:

A successful candidate must demonstrate intellectual distinction (will be assessed by prior academic achievements, recommendations, essays) and leadership capabilities (will be assessed by prior achievements in extracurricular, civic or community activities, employment history, and recommendations).
Please note that meeting the minimum requirements do not imply automatic admission into the program.

2) Master in Public Administration

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
Minimum3 years of working experience. Applicants should have attained mid- to senior level managerial position in their career stage. Based on the Admissions Committee’s discretion applicants with work experience less than 3 years may also be considered if the applicant can demonstrate high academic performance of CGPA 4 out of 5, or 2.67 out of 4, or its equivalent.

 3) PhD in Public Policy

Applicants applying to the PhD in Public Policy program are expected to have:

First or upper class second honours degree (or equivalent: Cum Laude; Magna Cum Laude; and Summa Cum Laude) or a master’s degree in a cognate discipline;
The required level of English proficiency.
Overall IELTS test score of 6.5 (with sub-score requirements no less than 6.0), or the equivalent TOEFL score as posted on the ETS website); Applicants to the PhD in Public Policy program, at the discretion of the Admissions Committee, can be exempted from submitting the language proficiency test report if:
– one of their earlier academic degrees was earned in a country with English as the language of official communication, academic instruction and daily life;
– an undergraduate degree was earned in a program which was officially taught in English;
– the applicant is a graduate of Nazarbayev University.
GMAT/GRE (may be submitted);
2 (two) letters of recommendation;
At least 3 (three) years of relevant work experience.
Based on GSPP’s Admissions Committee discretion, applicants with work experience less than 3 (three) years may also be considered if the applicant can demonstrate high academic performance as decided by the Admissions Committee.

Applicants to the PhD in Public Policy program are required to complete and submit online the application form available at the University website (http://admissions.nu.edu.kz), as well as a complete package of admission documents before the deadline.

Applicants will be required to pay a non-refundable application fee (KZT 5,000).

Shortlisted applicants must provide original copies of all documents.

The checklist for the application package for the PhD program:

Complete Application form for PhD in Public Policy program;
Official copy of degree diplomas/certificates with transcripts(with notarized English translation);
IELTS or TOEFL test report/certificate valid as of commencement of the program (if applicable);
Notarized copy of Passport/national ID;
GMAT/GRE test reports/certificates (optional) valid as of commencement of the PhD in Public Policy program;
2 letters of recommendation;
CV/resume;
Notarized copy of Labor card with English translation or another documented proof of work experience (if applicable);
Cover letter explaining the motivation to enroll on the PhD program;
Preliminary research proposal (2,000 words).

Submission of complete application package does not guarantee admission to the PhD in Public Policy program.
